Venton B. Forbes is an accomplished executive with over 30 years of demonstrated experience in leadership and organizational management within a Fortune 500 company and the nonprofit sector, domestically and internationally. Venton migrated to Hartford, CT from Jamaica, W.I., in 1977, matriculated through the Hartford Public Schools system, and is a proud graduate of Weaver High School. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Academy of Health Sciences and Biblical Life College & Seminary, and holds a master’s degree in business management from Cambridge College.

As Vice President of Community Integration and Impact, Venton’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, implementing a comprehensive community engagement strategy to enhance InterCommunity’s presence and impact, and developing new and strengthening existing relationships with community organizations and other relevant entities to drive meaningful social impact initiatives. He also provides strategic leadership to the development, marketing, and communications to ensure consistent and positive messaging in all internal and external communications.

Prior to his role as Vice President of Community Integration and Impact, Venton served as Development Director for InterCommunity, providing strategic leadership for fundraising activities, grant management, volunteer programs, and marketing and communications.
