Our goal is to provide every member of your family with the full range of healthcare services you need, whether it’s primary care to address your physical health concerns, mental health care, or addiction recovery. We serve adults, kids, and teens, and offer same-day appointments. Our professional staff is here to assist you and your family to get the right care at the right time, treating you with compassion and respect. Our services are offered in a variety of locations in Greater Hartford, East Hartford, and South Windsor. Bilingual (Spanish and English) services are available.

We provide comprehensive primary care services to every member of your family, regardless of age.

Primary Care for Kids/TeensList Item 2
Your children should get the right care in the right place at the right time. We provide a range of primary care services for children and adolescents. Spanish-speaking staff members are available.

Mental Health Care for Adults
We offer initial assessments, individual, family and group therapy, Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP), and medication management to those over the age of 18 through our Adult Outpatient Clinics in Hartford, East Hartford, and South Windsor.

For over 50 years, InterCommunity has had the mission of providing accessible, timely, responsive, and high-quality care to people who are seeking to recover from the effects of addictive disorders.

Community
Our specialized programs serve individuals involved in the criminal justice system who are referred by the Court Support Services Division (CSSD). Services include Jail Diversion, Justice Study, and Care Coordination to meet your healthcare needs all in one place.
Our
PROUD
program (Parents Recovering from Opioid Use or any other substance Disorder) offers services for pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders in Greater Hartford.
Child First
is an evidence-based program that helps to build strong, loving, parent-child relationships that heal trauma and stress and connects families to needed community-based services.

Our Employment Services program helps individuals dealing with behavioral health or substance use disorder challenges build employment and pre-employment skills.

Common Ground Learning Center is a social rehabilitation club for adults living with mental illness.
Residential
Recovery Services
InterCommunity’s residential programs serve individuals who are on a path to recovery from substance use disorders and/or mental health issues.
Residential Addiction Recovery
includes detoxification, withdrawal management, and supportive housing.
Mental Health Support
provides supervised housing for people with chronic and severe mental illness and/or addiction disorders. We help individuals recognize their talents and strengths, build their resilience skills, and achieve an improved quality of life no matter where they are in their recovery journey.
